THE RESILIENCE: One of the qualities I love about me! My purpose and passion has always been to inspire, empower and provide people with opportunities, whether business, educational or enrichment. Reaching the total person, mind, body and soul.

MENTORSHIP: 2008 started my journey in mentorship. Hosting an event, called “ Girls In Pearls “ that would empower girls under 18 years old , through seminars and workshops. A weekend of etiquette, self-esteem workshops and testimonials from community leaders, turned into an annual event that I would then host, the next 4-5 years later. A room full of about 50 girls, being empowered from internal to the external person. This event birthed so many engagements for our program in the community, We helped girls build vision, learn goal setting and to manage finances. This vision went on for over a decade!

COMMUNITY: Being a productive citizen has always been instilled in me from a youth. My Father was a business owner and worked very heavily in his community . Proudly, I followed in his footsteps. from 2012 to 2017, I have hosted events that have afforded young ladies and young men the opportunity to receive baskets filled with personal hygiene items. This would happen twice yearly. In 2016, I hosted one of the first “ Get Home Safely “ events in Texarkana. Its sole purpose was to help with the interactions between youth, mainly black males, and Police Officers. To provide them with vital information on how to handle a traffic stop or any encounter with authorities. The building was filled with over 200 students, teachers, school staff, community leaders and parents. We ended the event with a school supply giveaway and feeding. It was an honor to provide information and knowledge to our students that could potentially save their life! This event recently inspired the writing of my book, titled, “ Get Home Safely “.

BUSINESS: A very crucial year 2010, the year my life changed financially and drastically! I became the CEO and Founder of my own business. Sassi Gyrlz’ & H.Y.M. This would become the headquarters for the latest fashion accessories for women & men. Vending, business ventures and networking became my new normal. I met and connected with so many powerful women around the world, it inspired me to launch my group, Female Entrepreneurs Meet  This group is a place for all women who own a business or ready to launch, can join to network and connect, ( like our page on facebook, Female Entrepreneurs Meet ).

HEALTH & WELLNESS: In March of 2020, I obtained my Certified Personal Training License from the International Sports Science Association. Along with this big move, I joined one of the biggest health & wellness companies in the world, Total Life Changes (TLC). This company has afforded me great opportunities to make extra income from home while also enjoying the benefits of the awesome products. Our company is growing by leaps and bounds! THE JOURNEY: My goal is to continue to grow my businesses and to help people around the world through inspiration and knowledge! My motivation, is to make my family proud and to leave a financial legacy for them. I have coined this quote and it has become my affirmation, “ If God be for you, who can be against you, be persistent and WIN!!!!!!!
